Chamonix Mont Blanc has long-held a legendary reputation for first-class skiing and mountaineering, endorsed by its place as one of the ‘Best of the Alps’ named resorts. It is uniquely located close to Italy and Switzerland, giving easy access to fantastic terrain across 3 countries. If you stroll through Chamonix town you will see echoes of its past faces reflected across an array of architectural styles and eras, with graceful 1920s palaces juxtaposed with chalets originating from the 1800’s. Large sunny squares bedecked in flowers throughout the summer and lamp lit during winter evenings contrast with the winding cobbled streets found close by. The River Arve flows right through town, its promenades and bridges giving incredible views of the town and the stunning scenery surrounding it.
